Bradley Wheeldon PT, MPT
Clinic Director and a Co-Founder of OSPTBradley Wheeldon, PT, MPT, is the Louisville Clinic Director and a Co-Founder of OSPT.
Bradley received a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky. He has focused experience in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and general physical therapy conditions including extremity and neck/back disorders. His post-graduate focus has been on biomechanical and functional progression with an emphasis on manual therapy. He has served as a clinical instructor and CCCE for several physical therapy schools, and has a passion for helping fellow physical therapists develop.
Bradley was an 8-time All-American Rifle team member at the University of Kentucky and a member of the USA Shooting Team from 1998-2004, during which time he competed in international competitions including World Cups, World Championships, Championships of the Americas, and the Pan Am Games. He has participated in training as a classifier for the USA Paralympic Shooting Team.

Physical TherapistSkylar is a dedicated Physical Therapist specializing in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, with a passion for helping individuals move better, recover fully, and return to the activities they enjoy most. Her clinical expertise includes orthopedic and sports-related injuries, performance-focused rehabilitation, balance training, and functional movement restoration. As a dry needling certified clinician, Skylar utilizes a hands-on, evidence-based approach that combines manual therapy, strength development, and individualized treatment planning to optimize recovery and long-term function.
In addition to her orthopedic and sports focus, Skylar has interest in working with older adults, particularly in addressing balance deficits, mobility limitations, and fall prevention. She is passionate about improving quality of life across all age groups by helping patients build confidence, restore independence, and maintain active lifestyles. Her ability to blend performance rehabilitation with functional movement training allows her to connect with both athletes and aging populations alike.
Outside of the clinic, Skylar enjoys outdoor adventures and spending time playing with her dog, reflecting the active lifestyle she encourages in her patients.
Alex Kent PT, DPT

Physical TherapistAlex is a Louisville native and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Bellarmine University. He is certified in trigger-point dry needling, ASTYM certified, certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and Titleist Performance Institute medical level 3 certified.
He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has a special interest in sport-specific rehab and enjoys treating athletes of all ages and skill levels.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys weight training, golfing, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors.

Physical Therapist, Clinical DirectorTyler is a dedicated physical therapist with seven years of experience in general outpatient orthopedics, treating a wide range of conditions from ACL reconstructions to balance and fall risk training. His approach to care is rooted in helping patients not only recover but ultimately return to the activities and lifestyles they value most.
Tyler began his professional career in Versailles and is grateful to return to the area, where he is passionate about reinvesting in the community that helped shape him. As a former college basketball player, he has a special interest in working with local athletes, helping them safely recover from injury and get back to pursuing their goals on and off the court.
In addition to his work with athletes, Tyler is equally committed to supporting the aging population—helping individuals stay safe, strong, and independent so they can continue enjoying a high quality of life.
A proud husband and father of three young children. He places a strong emphasis on family and brings that same sense of care and commitment to his patients. He is deeply involved in his community, actively serving at Centerpoint Church in Lexington and building meaningful connections with those around him.
Joshua Valentine PT, DPT, ATC

Physical TherapistJosh earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Master’s in Athletic Training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He worked as an athletic trainer with the Field Hockey and Track & Field teams during his tenure at UNC, treating multiple athletes that would feature for the U.S. Olympic team in 2020 and 2024.
Josh specializes in sport rehabilitation, dry needling, and manual therapy. He enjoys treating injuries of the shoulder, hip and knee, and understands the demands required to return to high level athletics. His personal experience going through a variety of injuries including ACL surgery and multiple shoulder dislocations has helped shape his perspective and practice as a PT.
In his free time, Josh is an avid soccer and pickleball player. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Maddie, and their 1-year old son Caleb.

Physical TherapistBailey completed her college education at the University of Kentucky receiving both her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology – Exercise Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
Bailey is passionate about helping patients across the lifespan return to the activities they are passionate about – her specific clinical interests include manual therapy, sports-related injuries and injury prevention, and pelvic floor conditions. She is certified in Dry Needling and finds it to be a very effective treatment for a variety of conditions.
Bailey lives in Lexington with her husband, JR and in her free time enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Physical TherapistEmily Whitnell is originally from Mayfield, Kentucky. After high school she attended Union University where she played soccer and received her degree in Athletic Training. She attended physical therapy school at The University of Kentucky. After graduating physical therapy school Emily went on to complete a 1-year residency in sports medicine at University of Kentucky Sports Medicine. After completing her residency, she went on to receive her Board-Certification in Sports Physical Therapy.
In addition to being a sports certified physical therapist Emily is also a certified Athletic Trainer.
Outside of work Emily enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her husband and friends.
Emily clinical specialties include post operative care and acute sports injuries.

In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys playing sand volleyball, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, Joey, and two dogs Zorro and Sadie.

Physical TherapistBrian Mills earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Mount St. Joseph University. Prior to that, Brian obtained his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from University of Dayton.
Brian specializes in blood flow restriction, functional dry needling, ACL reconstructions and orthopedic injuries and is most interested in treating sports injuries.
In his free time, Brian enjoys playing golf, hiking with my wife, Mallory, and their dog, and trying out new local restaurants.

Jim Rothbauer PT, MPT, ATC
Clinic Director and a Co-Founder of OSPTJim Rothbauer, PT, MPT, ATC, is the Hamburg Clinic Director and a Co-Founder of OSPT.
Jim earned a B.S. in Sports Medicine from Marietta College and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. His professional career brought him to Lexington in 1996, where he eventually became supervisor of the University of Kentucky Sports Physical Therapy Department.
In 2002, he left the University of Kentucky to work for Drayer Physical Therapy Institute. During his eight years with Drayer, Jim served as Regional Vice President of Kentucky Operations and was responsible for developing the Kentucky region, where he opened five facilities and supervised over seventy employees. In May 2010, Jim left Drayer to open Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy.

Performance Physical Therapy Founder and Clinic DirectorScott Crook, PT, is the Performance Physical Therapy Founder and Clinic Director, and a partner in Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy.
Scott graduated from University of Kentucky Physical Therapy school in 1987. He started his career in his hometown of Corbin, Kentucky, in an outpatient physical therapy clinic and worked with athletes at the local high schools. He moved to Lexington in 1991 and has been practicing in sports medicine facilities since that time. He started his private practice in 2011, as Performance Physical Therapy, and eventually merged into Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy in 2013.
Scott was previously a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) for 19 years. He has worked with many athletes in many sports from Ballet to Rugby but is best known for his work with baseball players over the years. He has worked with athletes of all ages and levels of play from 9-year-old athletes in recreational sports to professional athletes. He also enjoys working with all musculoskeletal injuries and takes a very hands-on approach with all his patients. He is ASTYM certified and uses that skill, along with other manual skills as a key part of the rehabilitation process.
Scott is married to his wife, Cindy, who is also a PT at Performance, since 1991, and they have two children, Dylan and Carson.
Scott is also President of the Blanton Collier Sportsmanship Group and has been on their board since 2015. He was also previously on the Board of the Lexington Ballet.

Born in Louisville, KY, Alex earned his bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Bellarmine University.
His current professional interests are functional rehabilitation and sports rehab.
Outside of work, Alex’s interests include exercise, strength training, and playing basketball and golf.
Catherine Tussey PTA

Physical Therapist AssistantCat was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. She received her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Asbury University, where she also played on the Women’s Volleyball team. She moved to Louisville, KY in 2017, eventually obtaining her PTA license from Jefferson Community and Technical College in 2020. She has worked at multiple OSPT locations since becoming a PTA, joining her sister Samantha at the Danville clinic in 2023.
Cat has since received her certification in ASTYM therapy. She has a particular interest in sport-related injuries, post-operative care, and preventative rehabilitation (particularly with young athletes) to reduce the risk of injury while participating in athletics.
Being from Lexington, Cat is an avid UK Sports fan and loves attending games with her husband, Tyler. They currently reside in Lawrenceburg, KY with their daughter, Amelia and dog, Finn. During her time off, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and watching the TV show Friends.

Cindy graduated from the University of Kentucky School of Physical Therapy. She has worked in various rehab settings, including acute rehab, skilled nursing facilities, and home health.
Cindy has a passion for working with clients who have had amputations and are ready to start training with their prostheses. Training ranges from beginners to those who want to return to running, sport, or advanced activities. She also works with other neurological diagnoses and the geriatric population.
Cindy is married to Scott Crook and they have two children, Dylan and Carson.
Heather Clines PT, MSPT
Heather Clines PT, MSPT
Heather specializes in sports medicine and enjoys working with the diverse populations found in an outpatient setting. She has experience treating patients all across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Heather is a lifelong resident of Richmond. When she’s not in the clinic, she’s often attending her four daughters’ sporting events with her husband, John.
